This workshop series will support you in developing clear and compelling language about your creative practice in order to receive resources, space and time to create away from your day-to-day life and responsibilities, funding, and other tools/knowledge/opportunities so you can move closer to making the idea or image in your head exist in the world on the other side of hitting “submit.”

Together we will:

• Walk through the process of applying to artist residencies, fellowships, and grants

• Find residencies, fellowships, and grants for you to apply for

• Write your artist bio

• Create your artist CV

• Write your project statement

• Review what your portfolio + artist website should include

• Develop a system for tracking opportunities you’re interested in, are working on materials for, or have submitted to

• Review the most common ways artist applications are submitted

• Hit submit together

Live sessions will be held in May AND June 2024.
